Borderlands joins the campaign Dignity not Destitution!

Many asylum seekers and refugees in the UK face destitution and a life lacking dignity enforced on them by the British immigration system, further compounding their trauma and past wounds.

City of Sanctuary, along with key human rights groups and councillors, calls for the government to take measures to address destitution amongst asylum seekers and refugees.

We demand that everyone in Bristol, including people who are seeking sanctuary,
shall have:

  1. Appropriate shelter;
  2. Access to education and skills training;
  3. The right to earn a living through their own labour.

Please join our campaign for human rights for all, by signing our petition.
