We love that people want to help us to fundraise to support our work. We are always looking for people, community and faith groups and places of education and work to help us raise vital funds for our work. Your support means that we can ensure refugees and asylum seekers can move from exclusion to belonging.
Fundraising ideas
If you're struggling on ideas for fundraising here are some great ones:
-
Bring people together - host a dinner or tea party, hold a bake sale
-
Set yourself a challenge - run a marathon, skydive or cycle across the country!
-
Be creative - organise a spoken word, music or comedy night
-
Share your skills - host a craft or cooking workshop
In the summer of 2020, Fran and Jackson cycled the length of the UK, from Lands' End to John O' Groats, to raise funds for Borderlands.
They managed to raise almost £5,000, which was a great help for us to continue supporting asylum seekers and refugees during the Covid pandemic.
